Who can take part?

The first thing to note is that the Forum is for everyone who lives in, or works in, or runs a business in Horsham Town un-parished area.

It is first and foremost for the community, whether you are new to the town or have lived here all your life. This is our chance to come together and work on a plan to help shape Horsham for the next 20 years.

The plan that we produce has to promote or improve the social, economic and environmental well-being of the un-parished area of Horsham Town. That means it is about looking at our needs for housing, for jobs, for looking after our green spaces and for improving our streets, making it safer for children to play and for pedestrians and cyclists to get around town.

If you have ideas about what needs to be done in your road, let us know. Our plan will help to pull all of these ideas together, and ultimately will help us to raise funding to help make our town a better place.

We have been busy putting together all the foundations for our Forum and we now need the whole community to come forward and join in.

The more people who sign up, the stronger our voice and the better the plan that we produce.

Just let us know if you want to be on our Newsletter mailing list so that we can keep you informed, and do encourage your friends, neighbours and colleagues to join too. We are trying to reach as many people as possible so that everyone has the chance to contribute to the plan.

There are no membership fees and the Forum is non-political and all-inclusive.

If you would like to help in any way, do contact us.

We still have a few vacancies for people willing to stand for the Steering Group. If you have skills and time you can offer, then please complete our Committee Application Form.
